Olivia Griselda
I'm a Singapore-based, Indonesia-born director, writer, and producer.

I'm currently co-directing the animated comedy short film "She and Her Good Vibrations" with animation filmmaker Sarah Cheok. Our film's Kickstarter campaign successfully raised 152% of its funding goal and appeared on VICE. The film will be completed by end of 2022.

Previously, I directed the experimental dance short film "Rite of Passage". The film was featured in Asian Film Archive's Singapore Shorts 2021, Athens International Film and Video Festival 2021 (an Oscar-qualifying film festival in the U.S.), San Francisco Dance Film Festival 2021, and The International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA, Canada) 2022.

Other directing work includes romantic comedy short film “Just Because We’re Friends”, as well as YouTube comedy web series “Alice Wants a Date”.

As a producer, I worked on the drama short film "Last Call (Panggilan Terakhir)" with Singapore director Eysham Ali. Set in Singapore's Changi Airport, the film was an official selection of Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (Japan) 2022 and Flickers' Rhode Island Film Festival 2022. Both film festivals are Oscars-qualifying.

As a writer, I co-wrote two episodes for tween animated series "Puberteens" which was produced by Singapore animation studio Finding Pictures for Mediacorp.

Over the past nine years, I've worked on digital marketing campaigns for BBC StoryWorks, Asian Food Channel, Food Network, and HGTV. I studied business management at Singapore Management University, majoring in Marketing and Psychology.

Born in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta, I'm interested in telling female-driven stories from around the world through a visual medium. Besides filmmaking, I've recently been doing stand-up comedy sets.
