Kelimutu Crater Lake by Olivia Griselda

Flores, Indonesia - a travel photography series

The island of Flores lies within the East Nusa Tenggara region in Indonesia.

Only less than an hour of flight away from Bali, the island is most known for its beautiful landscapes, such as the multi-colored Kelimutu Crater Lakes.

The island's western port city Labuan Bajo serves as the gateway to the famed Komodo National Park, which is the only place in the world where Komodo Dragons exist.

This was the first destination that my Mom and I visited as part of our Indonesian Adventures.

As Indonesians, both of us felt guilty for not exploring enough of our home country, so we vowed each other to travel around more of our country, together.
