A romantic drama short film, JUST BECAUSE WE'RE FRIENDS follows a young woman who one night initiates sex with her prudish male best friend in the hope of starting a romance. But things become complicated, putting their friendship at risk. Can love come after sex? Or must love come first before sex?

The short film explores the tension between friendship and romance among friends of opposite gender. If you have a crush on your best friend, would you risk your friendship for love?

It also deals with the pressure of getting married in your 20s, particularly for women, in a light-hearted way. You may have single friends who've turned to Tinder, but you're more likely to know friends who've settled down with someone they've known since young or through school. This romantic drama short film will explore the latter scenario, but with sex thrown in as a stumbling block.

Last but not least, this film serves as a cautionary tale of what may happen if you rush into things before you're ready.

The short film raised more than USD 4,000 USD through Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign.
